The Mime team started
in 1996 under the directions of Quincy
Sutton and Deacon Michael Robinson. This
team was originated and developed as a
result of visiting a prophetic music
conference. This group consists of young
males who love the Lord. However, the
Mime team remains open to and welcomes
females. The name IMAGE was inspired by
Co-Pastor Carolyn Sutton through a
dream. The purpose of this group is to
get youth involved in ministry and to
demonstrate the praises of God through
movement, motion and experience the
anointing without being heard.
Music Ministry
Minister Quincy
Sutton is Minister of Music. He directs
a Dynamic, Anointed Praise & Worship
Team, along with 3 other musicians and 6
Praise Leaders.
Nursery, Toddler, and Children's Church
New Life nursery
consists of infants from the ages of 0-2
years old. The nursery began its full
operation in 1998. The attendants teach
the Word, read books, sing songs of
praises, and plan fun activities for the
babies. In attendance are approximately
6-10 babies. Toddler’s church is
children ages 3-4 years old. This
ministry also started in 1998. There are
male and female ministers, who instruct
the children. They are taught visual and
motor skills. The activities consist of
coloring, sing-along-songs, and
identification of objects. In attendance
on Sunday morning are approximately
10-12 children. Children’s Church
consists of children ages 5 to 11 years
old. Children’s Church started in 1998
and the children are ministered to by
assigned group leaders and qualified
child care providers. Their curriculum
is provided through GROUP Resources Inc.
They are also exposed to
the Video Series “Gerbert.” Children’s
church consist of approximately 30
students on Sunday Mornings.
Men's Ministry
The first men’s
summit was held in 1998. This summit
consisted of about one hundred men for
one cause and that was to build men so
that they would take their rightful
place in society and the church as men
of God. Displayed and emphasized at the
summit was how men should love their
wives and take the position as the
priest as the overseer of their
households.
Daughters of Destiny
The praise dancers at New
Life started in 1996 under the direction of
Adrienne Anderson and Charmane Chestnut. The
Daughters of Destiny consist of young girls and
young ladies who are saved; God is the head of
their lives. The mission of the dance team is to
draw other teenagers to Christ through dance.
These praise dancers don’t just practice dance
and steps, but they are also taught the purpose
of dancing through Bible discussions. This is a
ministry.
